Loss of capital & market risk
Crypto prices can change rapidly and substantially, and market structure and rules can change. Leverage amplifies gains and losses; extreme markets may cause forced liquidation or total capital loss. Stablecoins also carry depegging, issuer and redemption risks.
Model, research & sample risk
Historical patterns can fail. Parameter selection, data revisions, survivorship bias, overfitting and repeated experimentation may overstate future effectiveness. A historical holdout that influenced research decisions is not fully independent out-of-sample evidence.
Costs, liquidity & capacity
Actual trading depends on order-book depth, execution restrictions, minimum orders, fees, funding and borrowing costs. Backtest fills and costs may not be repeatable at other capital levels or market conditions. Without position evidence, nominal settings do not establish realized risk limits.
Counterparty & system risk
Failures involving exchanges, custodians, networks, account permissions, data APIs or software can interrupt trading, withdrawals or valuation. Read-only collection limits website access permissions but cannot remove risks in the trading account or other operating systems.
Performance methodology & estimation limits
Live reference NAV uses the disclosed account scope, USDT reporting and fee methodology. Five-minute Modified Dietz is an estimate. Incomplete flow timing, prices, accrued fees or account scope causes freezes or revisions. A scope change creates a new series, which is not unconditionally comparable with the old one.
NAV, drawdown and monthly returns describe only the disclosed period. Historical maximum drawdown is not a ceiling on future losses, and a short period of strong performance does not prove suitability for every market.
Information use & actual cooperation
